Island Cabinet Shop started as a family owned business retailing a line of cabinets from another manufacturer back in 1979. As we continued to grow and to learn the kitchen business for the next ten years, we began to ponder the possibility of producing a better quality cabinet for our own market and possibly for markets throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond.

We produced our first cabinet in June of 1989 out of a 3600 square foot building. We have expanded several times since then and we now have about 15,000 square feet of production space along with some of the most modern production equipment available to our industry today. We produce a line of framed cabinets which are available in various species and stain colors. We take pride in producing a product which is unsurpassed by any other in the Atlantic region in regards to both quality and price.

Customer service is at the top of our list. Deliveries when promised and providing replacement parts or cabinets when required are very important and we do our very best to ensure that every customer receives the best service we can provide. We believe that good service is every bit as important as a good product in order to succeed in today’s market.

Our “niche” lies in providing our customers with excellent service and our ability to provide a certain amount of custom work, without sacrificing the quality of our products which have earned us a well respected reputation in the industry.
